Among so many animals, I only fall in love with rabbit. The reason why I love rabbit is that my birth year was the Chinese Rabbit Year if counted by Chinese Lunar Calendar. This year – 2011 also is Chinese Rabbit Year, as well as my birth year. So I bought a lot of items that related to rabbit, among so many items, one series that I love most is rabbit earrings. The following is my exhibition, hope you enjoy it
There is a legend about the rabbit in Chinese history. It is said that once there was a rabbit and a goddess lived together in the moon. Thus the rabbit was treated as the symbol of the moon. The exhibition I display here includes 14 different kinds and expressions of rabbit, each pair of earrings seems cute and sweet to women, especially for young girls. Among these pairs of earrings, one that I love best is two rabbit with American flags. I often call these two rabbit as “Little white” and “Little Brown”. One obvious reason that I fall in love with it is that the cuteness of the two rabbits, as well as the individualism it leaves to people.
